HOW WE WORK
How we work
Analysis first, then the first load.
1
Sampling
Directly where the residue arises, in the paper mill or at your site.
2
Analysis
Accredited laboratories test every source before the first load leaves.
3
Recovery route
The material decides the route. We match the analysis against the acceptance criteria of recovery plants and decide whether the material goes to material or energy recovery. For every stream we plan a second route as well. Where residues go
4
Transport
Around 80 routes (2025), matched to unloading equipment and schedules.
5
Documentation
Complete records for waste producers and authorities.
PART OF STEP 3 – RECOVERY ROUTE
Where residues go
Whether a residue goes to material or energy recovery depends on its composition – not on the industry that receives it.
Material recovery
The material replaces a raw material – for example as a pore-forming agent in brick making, as part of the raw mix in cement and lime works, or as an ingredient of new products.
Energy recovery
The energy in the material is used – for example in power plants and co-incineration plants, biomass CHP plants, waste-to-energy plants or industrial furnaces.
Cement works often combine both.
